OREGON CITY, Ore. (KPTV) – Gerlinde Spring Lynch repeatedly told deputies she could not breathe shortly before she died in the Clackamas County Jail, according to video newly obtained by the FOX 12 Investigative Unit.
Lynch, 47, was strapped into a restraint chair and surrounded by more than a dozen jail personnel on Feb. 18 when she became unresponsive.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner determined Lynch’s death was a homicide, finding that she suffered cardiac arrest caused by a combination of methamphetamine toxicity, physical restraint, obesity and hypertensive cardiovascular disease…
