New Clark County Animal Resource Center proposed in southwest Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A new location is now on the table for a proposed Clark County Animal Resource Center.

The county is now seeking approval to build the facility on county-owned land near Jones Boulevard and Post Road, a different location from the site originally proposed near Tropicana Avenue and 215.

This is a major change from the original plan. The county is seeking a zone change, design approvals, and other land-use approvals to move forward with the project.
