Flett Middle School teachers eager to help students recovering from fires despite losing their own homes

SPOKANE, Wash. — Scott Kelley’s love for teaching children spans nearly three decades, but ‘back-to-school’ feels different this year.

“When they come back in high school or after high school and they see you… it’s so rewarding to know you’ve had a little bit of an impact on their lives,” Kelley said.
