CINCINNATI — Recent heavy rains across Ohio have left many residents dealing with water and flood damage in their homes, but mechanics say drivers should check their vehicles for signs of damage as well.
Experts said cars can withstand rain and wind, but floodwater can create more serious problems for a vehicle’s engine, interior and structure. Even driving through high water can cause damage, they said.
