FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A crash on I-69 has closed down the northbound lanes near Auburn Road. Police have opened all lanes over four hours after the crash occurred.
According to a press release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, police and medics responded to reports of a crash near the 314-mile marker on I-69 at 6:58 p.m. on Sunday.
When officers arrived, they found that a sedan had collided with a pickup truck, causing the truck to roll over the side barrier of the roadway and into the grass. In the truck, three people were trapped inside.
The three occupants of the truck were freed and taken to the hospital, where they were later released. All three have been deemed to be in non-life-threatening condition. The driver of the sedan was uninjured and was standing when responders arrived…
