A suspected drunk driver was arrested on Aug. 19 after the man drove to a California Highway Patrol office in Madera County and walked into the building.
“After he entered the lobby, officers noticed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication,” CHP said.
Officers tested the man’s sobriety and he was arrested and booked for DUI.
“The destination may have been unusual, but the danger was the same,” CHP said. “If you drink, don’t drive — anywhere. Plan ahead, call a sober friend, or use a rideshare.”…
