Arizona could secure its first-ever Michelin star this week

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — For the first time in culinary history, Arizona restaurants have a shot at securing one of the industry’s most prestigious honors: a Michelin star.

The Michelin Guide is hosting its first-ever Southwest ceremony in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Fontainebleau. The event comes after Michelin inspectors spent the last several months quietly judging dining establishments across the Grand Canyon State.
