CHICAGO A Chicago woman has been charged in connection with the shooting of a man earlier this month on the city’s West Side.

Police said Emanda Mata, 35, was arrested Friday in the 1800 block of South Harding Avenue in North Lawndale.

According to police, she was identified as a person who participated in the shooting of a 35-year-old man Aug. 11 on South Harding Avenue.

The shooting happened around 1:15 p.m. The man was struck in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
