LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A Lafayette man died after a truck left the roadway and struck him on a sidewalk along Evangeline Thruway before hitting several utility poles, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
The victim was identified as Wilbert Davis, 66, of Lafayette.
