MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) – A Fairview man is in custody after running and swimming from deputies late Saturday night, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened just after 10 p.m. at Chinook Landing Marine Park in Fairview after a 911 caller reported a man armed with a gun. Deputies arrived to the scene and attempted to take the man, 26-year-old Julio Cardenas, into custody but he ran into a wooded area and hid.
