Gunfire erupted on Lang Street in Schenectady on Aug. 19, 2026, when a driver reported that someone opened fire on his vehicle, police said.
Schenectady Police responded at about 8:48 p.m. to the area of 500 Lang St. for a report of shots fired. The victim told police he was driving in the 500 block of Lang Street when an individual fired shots at his vehicle, striking it.
Police said the victim tried to leave the area but later crashed near the intersection of Lang Street and Foster Avenue. The victim was not injured…
