Quincy man wins $1 million Massachusetts Lottery prize

QUINCY, Mass. (WWLP) – A Quincy man won a $1 million prize playing a Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket.

Eversource Foundation donates $28,000 to United Way Franklin & Hampshire Region

Daniel Reynolds won the prize in the Lottery’s “$25,000,000 Mega Money” instant ticket game. He chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.

Reynolds said he plans to use his winnings to travel and pay off his house. He purchased the winning ticket at 200 Food Mart, 200 Sea Street St. in Quincy.

The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
