HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — National Waffle Day is giving Grand Strand diners another reason to dig into a breakfast favorite, and Johnny D’s is leaning into the celebration with a menu built around creative takes on waffles.
The restaurant offers a lineup of specialty waffles, including its popular Red Velvet Waffle. Another fan favorite is the Cinnaroll Waffle, made with cinnamon sauce swirled into the waffle and topped with icing drizzle, powdered sugar and butter. Customers can add pecans for what the restaurant has nicknamed the OMG Waffle.
