(FOX40.COM) — A man was convicted of attempted murder after shooting two people and now faces potential decades in prison, the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office said.
The case began on Dec. 1, 2023, when 56-year-old Anthony Gibbs shot into an occupied car in Sacramento County. Gibbs fired eight rounds at the car, striking the front passenger’s cheek and the driver four times, injuring their back and shoulder, according to the DA’s office.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office booked Gibbs into jail on multiple felony charges on Dec. 19, 2023. He had two prior felony charges of battery and assault with a deadly weapon, according to jail records…
