WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – Traffic leaving Wrightsville Beach has slowed to a crawl Monday as crews work to clear a detached boat and trailer blocking the westbound drawbridge exit.
According to town officials, a boat and its trailer broke free from a truck, blocking the left westbound lane.
Emergency crews are currently diverting all westbound traffic into the right lane just off the drawbridge. While traffic is still moving through the area, drivers are being asked to find alternate routes…
