ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara is stepping down from office this week to lead the Illinois Municipal League.
McNamara, a Rockford native, became the city’s 41st mayor in 2017 and is currently serving his third term. Monday night’s special session marks his final meeting with the City Council.
