A crash with injuries shut all eastbound local lanes of Interstate 78 in Newark on Tuesday morning, Aug. 25, as a major emergency response appeared to be unfolding.
The crash was reported near Exit 56 for Elizabeth Avenue, with all eastbound local lanes closed as of 9:39 a.m., according to NJDOT traffic alerts.
