Juici Patties is set to bring a taste of Jamaica to the Lone Star State. According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, the largest Jamaican patty restaurant chain is planning to open in River Oaks, near the border of Montrose, within Shepherd Square at 2055 Westheimer Road, Suite 100.
The permit further details that construction is slated to start in late September and wrap up in mid-December. If all goes well with permitting and the estimated $350,000 construction project, Houston’s first Juici Patties could open by the end of this year or early next year.
At the helm of the opening are the children of the owner, Jukie Chin, Daniel, and Alyssa. What Now Houston reached out to Daniel, but didn’t hear back. Alyssa responded and confirmed the opening, but was unable to share further details by the time of this publication…
