All Three Suspects In Deadly Albany Double Stabbing Attack Now Locked Up: Authorities

Three men convicted in a deadly double stabbing in the Capital Region in 2024 have now all been sentenced to lengthy prison terms, authorities said Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Javier Martinez Reyes, 29, got 16 years behind bars and five years of probation after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter, the Albany County District Attorney’s office said.

Martinez Reyes was one of three suspects in the case and the final one to be sentenced, according to prosecutors. Marco Reyes Lopez, 26, admitted to stabbing both victims, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, and was sentenced last month to 18 years to life, authorities said…
