AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A funeral will be held Tuesday for a Richmond County deputy who was killed in a car crash last week.
Richmond County Sheriff’s Deputy Phillip Wasson died in a crash on Washington Road on Wednesday. Heather Michelle Lanier, 57, of Martinez, was also killed in the crash.
Wasson’s funeral will be held at the Advent Lutheran Church, 3232 Washington Road, at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
