KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Mostly clear overnight as temperatures fall into the low to middle 60s. Winds will be calm.
WEDNESDAY: Humidity will be on the rise Wednesday as more moisture returns to East TN. After a mild start to the day, temperatures will climb to the upper 80s to near 90 by the afternoon. Most of us will stay dry through the day, but a stray downpour cannot be ruled out in the afternoon. Clouds will begin to build late with a few showers possible in the overnight hours.
THURSDAY: A cold front will be approaching us from the northwest, setting the stage for our next round of showers and storms. Heavy rain and storms are looking to arrive early Thursday morning and stick around for most of the day. Highs will reach the upper 80s to near 90.
