Could we get a Kentucky vs. Louisville battle for one of the top point guards in the class of 2027? We’re one step closer to that possibility, as five-star Reese Alston has included the Wildcats and Cardinals in his most recent list of finalists, cut down to seven remaining contenders.
The group of seven? Houston, Kentucky, LSU, Louisville, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Wichita State, he told Rivals’ Joe Tipton.
Alston is ranked as the No. 8 overall recruit in the 2027 class and the No. 3 point guard, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, an average of all three major recruiting media companies (Rivals, ESPN, 247Sports)…
