LUBBOCK, Texas — On Tuesday afternoon, Ismael Villarreal was sentenced to 15 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice with 295 days of jail credit after committing an aggravated robbery at a Lubbock bus stop.
EverythingLubbock.com previously reported in 2025 that Villarreal and Robinson robbed a bus stop near the 800 block of Broadway. When officers arrived at the scene, a victim described the incident, saying that while they were waiting for a bus, two suspects approached them, one of whom was wearing an orange backpack and had a small dog.

The victim went on to explain to authorities that one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and put it to the side of the victim’s head, forcing the victim to give them their cellphones and money.
