Parking at Chamblee High School is an important topic of conversation for many upperclassmen, and more specifically, for students participating in dual enrollment and work-based learning. However, applying for parking through the Google Form does not guarantee parking. Chamblee’s dual enrollment and work-based learning students get priority, but Chamblee’s parking lot just isn’t big enough to accommodate everyone who would like a spot.
This year, Ms. Heather Miller took over assigning parking for the first time. Over the summer, she worked to redraw parking maps and accept parking applications from students.
“Mr. Chapman had some hand-drawn maps [of the parking lot], so I redid them so that they were a little more student-friendly,” said Ms. Miller.
