A traffic stop in White Oak led to two arrests and the recovery of a loaded privately made firearm and crack cocaine, according to Montgomery County Police.
Police said 3rd District officers conducted the traffic stop Tuesday evening in the area of Lockwood Dr near New Hampshire Ave. The driver was arrested on traffic-related charges, while a passenger was arrested for possession of crack cocaine.
During a search of the vehicle, officers recovered a loaded privately made firearm with no serial number, commonly known as a “ghost gun.” According to police, the driver is prohibited from possessing firearms because of prior criminal convictions…
