CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A Chattanooga councilman says he wants more information about what he described as the misuse of taxpayer dollars and is seeking a public hearing to review recent audit findings involving the city’s fleet management office and procurement practices.
“I’m going to ask if we can convene a public hearing in one of our committees to discuss the recent audit findings involving our fleet management office and our procurement issues, so the public can get a clearer understanding of what happened and the steps taking place to make sure they are rectified,” Chattanooga City Councilman Ron Elliot says.
