LANSING, Mich. (News 10) -A First Alert Weather Day is in effect as scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, with the window of greatest concern between noon and 6 p.m.
While most thunderstorms that develop today will remain below severe limits, those that do intensify could pack a punch. Damaging wind gusts between 40 and 60 mph are the primary threat with stronger storms. Large hail and a small chance of a weak tornado are also possible.
