Stanislaus ranks high in U.S. for food-processing jobs. Check out some openings

A new report found 10,836 people working in food processing in Stanislaus County last year. It was the highest concentration among midsize counties in the nation.

The report came from Trace One, a global provider of software that helps food and other businesses comply with regulations.

The report shows the county’s continued strength in dairy, nuts, poultry, canned tomatoes and other industries. It does not include wine, which would add a few thousand more workers, mainly at E.&J. Gallo Winery…
