NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 26-year-old man is facing criminal charges for a deadly crash that occurred along Old Hickory Boulevard in Nashville earlier this year.

The crash happened in the early morning hours of January 16, when a Mercury Grand Marquis was attempting to turn left off Zermatt Avenue.
According to arrest documents, Eddie Lee McGee III smashed into the passenger side of the Mercury at speeds up to 107 mph.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said the impact caused the Mercury to overturn, injuring one passenger and killing 42-year-old Markeith Miller. Officials said none of the occupants inside the vehicle were wearing a seat belt.
