KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A late-night shooting on Wayne Avenue has left a man dead and police searching for a person of interest who ran from the scene.
Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 8100 block of Wayne Avenue August 25, between Troost Avenue and The Paseo on Kansas City’s South Side, around 11:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they found an unresponsive man suffering from gunshot wounds near the front porch of a house.
An ambulance rushed the victim to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced deceased…
