Western Washington cities, counties receive federal crime-fighting grants

Cities and counties across Western Washington recently received federal funding for crime-fighting improvements.

Vancouver and Clark County will split $139,355 for technology, equipment and supplies intended to enhance community safety. Longview and Cowlitz County will receive $10,793 to support the Longview School Resource Officer Program, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.
