MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – A teenager charged as an adult in the shooting death of a classmate stepped back inside a courtroom Wednesday morning for a brief case management conference.
Santana Davis, 17, remains in custody without bond at the Manatee County Jail, where he has been held since his transfer from juvenile detention in June. He is awaiting trial for the death of 17-year-old Demetrius Lightfoot Jr.
