A Huntsville educator is in the running for a national award recognizing top teachers.
Heather Hall, a STEM teacher at Montview Elementary School, has been named one of six finalists for the 2026 Toyota Family Teacher of the Year, an honor presented by the National Center for Families Learning, with support from Toyota.
Hall earned her Elementary Education degree from Jacksonville State University and has spent her career in Huntsville City Schools, working as a 2nd and 5th grade classroom teacher, an Entertainment Technology teacher, and an Innovative Technology Coach before joining Montview’s STEM Lab.
