DAVENPORT, Fla. – A 22-year-old Jacksonville man wanted for threatening a convenience store clerk with a gun was taken into custody Thursday evening after returning to the same business, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 7:15 p.m. on August 20, 2026, to the RaceTrac located at 45119 U.S. Highway 27 in Davenport after receiving a tip that Jaylin Latrell Hardin was inside the store.
