SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A man convicted of killing another man in Savannah is the suspect in a bomb threat made against an Atkinson County school, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The GBI says the call was made from prison.
The threat was made against an Atkinson County school last Friday, Aug. 21, 2026. The Atkinson County School Chief of Police requested the GBI investigate the threat.
Investigation details
Preliminary information indicates 37-year-old Kendall Alfonzo Stevens, originally from Savannah, made the threat, according to the GBI.
