Summer Heat Makes a Comeback
Another round of summerlike heat is inbound as August gives way to September, with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s early next week.
The National Weather Service forecast for Rockford predicts temperatures rising from the lower 80s this week to 86 on Sunday, and near 90 on Monday and Tuesday.
