More storms in store for Charlotte region: Latest forecast

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Wednesday brought a return of thunderstorms to the Charlotte region, and more storms are likely through the first half of the weekend.

The humid air mass allowed dense fog to develop overnight, which led to a dense fog advisory for the foothills until 9 a.m. Thursday.

After the fog dissipates, Thursday will be another warm and muggy day, with highs in the upper 80s and feels-like temperatures in the low 90s.
