Oakland police arrested a man suspected of kidnapping a woman at gunpoint Tuesday, authorities said.
Police did not identify the man. Officers were called shortly after 5 p.m. to reports of a kidnapping in the 1700 block of Embarcadero Road, near multiple waterfront hotels.
