BELLEVILLE, Ill. — Funeral and memorial arrangements have been made for Belleville Police Chief Matthew S. Eiskant, who died Monday at the age of 49 after a battle with cancer.
Eiskant, a lifelong Belleville resident who spent over 25 years with the Belleville Police Department, will be honored during visitation and funeral services this weekend.
Visitation is scheduled for 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at the Belleville East High School Gymnasium at 2555 West Boulevard. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m…
