SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Starting Aug. 29, two temporary exit ramps will open past Exit 5 leading southbound on Ga. 400 for drivers to access the North Springs Station, Abernathy Road and Hammond Drive during express lane construction.
Construction activities are related to the Ga. 400 Express Lanes Project that’s building 16 miles of new express lanes in both directions on the state highway extending from Exit 5C in Fulton County to Exit 12 in Forsyth County.
Exit 5B is located approximately 0.6 miles south of the current Exit 5 and will be exclusively for drivers getting to the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority’s North Springs Station and parking garage…
