STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island is New York City’s most family-oriented borough, a new report notes, with five neighborhoods ranking among the city’s top enclaves for married-couple homeownership.
According to a new Property Shark analysis, Concord, Charleston, Lighthouse Hill, Pleasant Plains and Bay Terrace are among the top 10 NYC neighborhoods where traditional family ownership is strongest.
“Staten Island remains the city’s most traditional homeownership market with married-couple families claiming 60% of owner-occupied homes — the highest share of any borough and on par with the national rate,” the report stated…
