Construction has begun on the ninth and final cube of Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami, bringing the 100-story supertall into the final major stage of its vertical rise at 300 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami. The 1,049-foot tower is being developed by Property Markets Group and Greybrook Realty Partners alongside Mohari Hospitality, S2 Development, and Hilton, with Sieger Suarez Architects collaborating with Carlos Ott on the design. John Moriarty & Associates serving as general contractor.
The milestone became apparent over the last few days as new construction photographs circulated online showing the reinforced concrete superstructure beginning its transition into the uppermost volume. Reddit user u/Ant0n61 shared the images to the r/skyscrapers community on August 23, capturing the significance of the moment in five words: “We are on the final cube.”
