BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WALA) – A Baldwin County judge Thursday set a Sept. 24 drug court date for former Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum.
Gillum, who was the Democratic Party nominee for governor in Florida in 2018, faces charges stemming from an arrest in Daphne. According to his lawyer, Christ Coumanis, Gillum is in an inpatient drug treatment center.
If Gillum were to successfully complete the drug court program, a judge would dismiss the charges.
