VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Ailani Roundtree, 21, pleaded guilty to reckless driving following a crash at Murphy’s Irish Pub in Virginia Beach.
On April 17, Roundtree was attempting to leave a nearby parking garage without paying when she lost control of the car and plowed into diners at the restaurant. Seven people were hurt as a result of the crash, including one who suffered life-threatening injuries.

Roundtree admitted to consuming one alcoholic beverage prior to the crash. Her breathalyzer result was a blood alcohol reading of .058 which is below the legal threshold for intoxication.
Following the crash, she was denied bond in Virginia Beach General Court after Judge Vivian Henderson said she must face consequences as a result of her choices. Judge Henderson said there could have been multiple fatalities…
