MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — A landmark that used to serve as a busy mall in Midwest City is being demolished.
On Wednesday afternoon, crews from Midwest Wrecking began demolition of the former Heritage Park Mall site and a former fast-food restaurant at 6525 E. Reno Ave.
In 2023, the Midwest City Urban Renewal Authority developed an Urban Renewal Plan to focus on multiple properties on the former mall campus.
