PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Drivers may see some delays on metro Phoenix freeways this weekend as the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) continues work on multiple projects.
In the northwest Valley, the westbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) will be closed between 51st and 75th avenues from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project. Additionally, both I-17 ramps to westbound Loop 101 and the westbound on-ramps at 27th and 35th avenues will be closed.
To get around this, drivers can exit early and use westbound Bell Road or Union Hills Drive.
Also in the northwest Valley, the eastbound Loop 101 ramps to north- and southbound I-17 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. Drivers should exit ahead of the ramp closures and use local alternate routes to reach the interstate…
