COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Tropical Storm Dolly formed early Thursday morning in the Central Tropical Atlantic. As of 5PM, the storms has sustained winds of 50mph and gusts up to 60mph.
The name “Dolly” was selected to replace Diana in 1990. It was first used in 1996. Tropical storm and hurricane names are a set of pre-picked names that rotate every 6 years, unless they are retired.
