JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Four days after allegedly wiring $1.227 million in stolen funds to a real estate firm, a North Jackson couple accused of embezzling up to $95 million from a local credit union bought a home on Sleepy Hollow Drive, according to new federal filings.
The National Credit Union Association Board (NCUAB) is suing Leigh Bridges, her husband Chad Bridges, and Tina Funez, in connection with the embezzlement of as much as $95 million from the Jackson Area Federal Credit Union (JAFCU).
