BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The Greater Birmingham Humane Society is moving its animal care operations to a new state-of-the-art facility.
For decades, every stray, abused or abandoned animal in Jefferson County has come through the organization’s current facility. GBHS says the number of animals coming through the building has outgrown what it was designed to handle.
