A 24-year-old man was shot early Saturday morning in the 3000 block of Middleton Road NW in Northwest Atlanta, police said, becoming the latest victim of gunfire on a stretch of road that has seen repeated shootings over the past year and a half. Officers arrived around 1:45 a.m. to find the man alert and awake, and he was taken to a hospital for treatment.
